How to use IC Inventory control in RxDME2000

RxDME2000 has limited Inventory Control (IC) functions, residual from the time when we offered a full IC system.
Support can issue a new company data file that will turn on these functions in the DME module.
There are some IC reports to support the limited functions.

We suggest you try this on one or two items, for 'testing' purposing.

To get started first request the new company file to turn on IC functions
once installed, go to your individual items that you want to be monitored and on the Inventory Control Tab for that item
check the "use Inventory Control for this item " check box.
Now you can put in an onhand qty
the software will reduce the onhand qty by the number of units dispensed and it will update the YTD fields.
If you want to use the Re-order point and Min and Max fields, and onorder , they can be used for reporting purpose but they are not touched by the program.  Therefore when you order something, and it is received you would go to onhand and increase it manually.

same would be true for reducing the on order qty, you would manually reduce it.

to run reports for the ic system click
