VERSION 3.12 RELEASE NOTES

SIMPLECLAIMS ENHANCEMENT

PROCEDURE CODE MARKETING TOOL & REPORTS

Dear SimpleClaim users;

One of the new features in version 3.12 of our SCRW (Simpleclaims Client Report Writer) is our Marketing tool.

From the main menu of SCRW, select the Tools Menu,  we call it the Diabetic Marketing tool.

Here is what the Diabetic Market tool aims to do for you.

Builds a list of claims and patients associated with those claims for a range of claim entry dates and for a specific procedure code.    Example: I am looking for a list of claims / patients who received A4253    from 01/01/2011 to 03/31/2011.   You can use any procedure code and any range of dates.

Using the Report writer a wide variety of reports can be made such as Tickler reports, Mail Merge Letters etc.  We have provided several reports or you can create your own new reports.  explanation of these reports follows below..

Usage of Tool.   Click Tools menu, then Diabetic marketing tool

Click on Select Build Records

Enter a range of dates (ENTRY DATE OF CLAIM not Date of service )

Enter a procedure code or use the ... lookup button.

Optionally enter Days supply (example 30 day supply) this is used for some reports.

Click proceed.   Once complete check your results by

Reports

You can run reports by clicking Tools, Diabetic Marketing tool, then Print Diabetic Mailings

here are some reports and what they do..

Diabetic Listing report - prints all items in the View records window ie what was found in search.

Diabetic Mail Merge Letter - sample letter showing typical mail merge fields , Prints every record in above list

Diabetic When to make next call report - prints all records in the list.  It shows the next call back date based on  the date of service plus the days supply entered in the selection window

Diabetic report based on Days supply in claim report - same as above except it uses the days supply number that you put in the claim during claim entry.

These reports could be used to remind you when to call back clients for reorders.   Or you can use a wider range of dates and a procedure code to cross sell a related item using the mail merge functions.
